Redboot Bilingual Preschool

Early Years

As children approach the age of 3, they may begin to transition into a preschool or pre-kindergarten program that focuses more on early academic skills, social-emotional development, and play-based learning through our Nursery 1 and Nursery 2 Classes. Children will then move to Kindergarten 1 and 2 classes at the age of 5 and 6 years old where Redboot provides a more structured curriculum that prepares them for primary school. Both kindergarten and nursery programs are important for providing young children with a strong foundation for future learning and development, and help children develop essential skills in areas such as communication, problem-solving, and social-emotional development. While sensory play may not be a core component of kindergarten programs, many kindergarten classrooms incorporate hands-on learning activities, projects, and other engaging activities that help children develop a love of learning and build important skills in a fun and engaging way.

Nursery

In the Nursery Classes (2 to 4 years old), Redboot provides plenty of opportunities for play, exploration, and social interaction, as well as consistent routines and boundaries to help children feel safe and secure. Routines provide children with a sense of predictability and stability, which can help them feel secure and comfortable in their environment. When children feel safe and secure, they are more likely to engage in positive behaviors and develop good habits. Consistency and routine also provide a framework for children to develop good habits and behaviors in a nurturing and supportive environment. At this age, children thrive on consistency and predictability, so creating routines that are predictable and consistent that Redboot’s Nursery Classes offers to help support the children growth and development.
